Andrew Bader, Advisory Board Member and Treasurer
Andrew is a certified public accountant working at Petrinovich Pugh and Company, LLP since 2005. Prior to this Andrew was Key Account Manager with TeleAtlas. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and a Certificate in Advanced Accounting from Santa Clara University. Andrew is currently working towards his Masters of Taxation at San Jose State University. Along with his involvement with The Khaled Hosseini Foundation, Andrew also serves as Treasurer of the Boys and Girls Club of Silicon Valley and is actively engaged with the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Sue Foltz, Advisory Board Member
Sue is a 26 year veteran at Abbott Laboratories where she has been in Finance, Marketing, and is currently a Medical Diagnostics Senior Executive for the Diagnostic’s Division. Sue has received numerous awards and recognitions including the 2009 American Association of Clinical Chemistry Educator of the Year Award – California , Vice President’s Award of Excellence, Senior Sales Awards and the Vince Lombardi Award. Sue is actively involved in community outreach programs for Notre Dame High School, Holy Spirit Middle School, and Silver Oak Elementary School. She has also worked as a volunteer with the Sacred Heart Community Center, JW House, Girl Scouts of America, and Silver Creek Valley Country Club.
April Valenzuela-Mason, Advisory Board Member
April is Principal and Founder of Ascend Marketing Consulting Group. As a marketing consultant, April has advised marketing executives at various high tech firms in the Bay Area including Adobe, Apple, and Intuit. Previously, April was the Director of Product Marketing for SAP and held similar positions at Intuit, Centigram, and AT&T. She earned her MBA from Harvard Business School in 1994.
Becky Morales, Advisory Board Member
She is currently the owner and real estate broker of BFM Properties and has been a licensed real estate broker in the San Francisco Bay Area for 30 years. Becky has won several Real Estate Awards including Top Listing Agent, Top Selling Agent and the coveted MAME award for Marketing and Merchandising Excellence, Outstanding Manager & Salesperson in Northern California in 2007. Her affiliations include the Sales and Marketing Council, Home Builders Association of Northern California the California Association of Realtors and Santa Clara County Association of Realtors. She has also participated as a volunteer for Teen Challenge and has served as a committee member for fundraisers for the physically challenged.
